Verlander winning mvp that year is still bullshit. They got both leagues wrong in 2011.

I guess thats what we get for that epic collapse though.

Yea, a pitcher winning MVP is pretty indefensible.

One of the Indians broadcasters was talking last night about how there should be a Most Valuable Player and a Most Outstanding Player. It was cringe-worthy stuff.

You can't have an MVP/Cy Young award without factoring how much a player is in the game

For example, Mookie Betts has played 1256 innings this season. Kluber has pitched 204 innings. Britton has pitched 60 innings.

A closer shouldn't win the Cy Young when they pitch only 30% as much as starters do. And a pitcher shouldn't win MVP when they play 16% of what hitters do. That may just be me, but that's how I feel

While I agree with the premise, that is definitely oversimplifying it. A hitter may be "play" 1256 innings or whatever, but they damn sure aren't directly involved with a play/doing something during all of those innings.

Trea Turner looks like a superstar
I like the Nats more than the Cubs. Have since like 2012 lol

Idk if the Dodgers could beat them without them choking a little bit

I honesty had no clue who Tanner Roark was until earlier this week.
