Very cool, were you vacationing in NY and decided to go see a game or something?
Girlfriend's cousin was getting married. Didn't want to just sit in the hotel night 1 so I got tickets to the game beforehand

I'd much rather the Giants win than the mets.

Rooting for the tribe overall though. I hope you remember this Dan.
I will give you 20% overall credit for the series win if it happens. 70% to Kluber and 10% to LeBron.

Another 60% to me

The mets suck and only made the playoffs cause they had the easiest schedule of all time in September

Atlanta actually gave them trouble but dont worry, they still got to sweep the freaking reds and twins and took 5/6 against the phils before they clinched on the 2nd to last day

Poor cardinals

So thats winning 11/12 vs the reds, twins, phils
Theres your wildcard

Giants are the better team

Considering we lost 3/5ths of our starting rotation, our starting 3B, 2B, and CF. Then part of the season without our starting 1B and catcher,  I think they did a pretty good job all things considered.

Thats cute that youre talking about SOS because the Dodgers had the easiest SOS in all of MLB this year. The Giants having the 2nd easiest.

FPS gonna dissect all day!

To be fair, a good team is always going to have a disadvantage in comparing SOS because they can't play themselves. For example, I feel like every year it gets brought up that Duke and UNC have the easiest ACC schedule.

It probably evens out more over a 162 game schedule, but still.

Anyways, he's just talking about September.

SOS is such a weak argument because you cant choose who you play and over 162 games the difference is minute. I understand in the NFL it makes a difference but not MLB. I knew the schedule was a cake walk at the end and they would get in, but they dont flat out suck because they did what they were supposed to do and beat bad teams.

Hey pal
Dodgers set a NL record and tied a MLB record with DL stints ever. I dont want to hear it

I would like to know where you got the SOS tho?
NL West played the AL East this year. Dodgers played the Sox, O's, Yanks, Jays

I guess the main difference is division strength. Pads, dbacks and rockies were bad. So were phils and braves. Probably worse than the nl west, but the marlins were better than the rockies

I will say having to play 18 games in AZ and Colorado every year freaking sucks

But theres no denying that september schedule. Cards should be playing the Gisnts right now. Mets got lucky

Normally I'd root for the Mets to win tonight, but they let that fucking Royals team win the World Series so they're forever dead to me.

Reyes, Granderson, Jay Bruce, James Loney.

The Mets are set up so well for 2009.
