Would have been ideal to close out asap, but the Bauer v. Lester match up was not in our favor.

Neither is Tomlin v. Arrieta, but we still have Kluber for game 7.

Jake gave up a few runs to sf
Got lit up by the Dodgers
Did not have his best stuff last game
He could be due

Tomlin on short rest is tricky tho. Same thing as i said about bauer. Just need 3 innings. Im sure tito regrets sending bauer back out there for the 4th

People say you cant win in the regular season with guys only pitching like 4 innings a start

Well the dodgers did it and i dont think it was fully a coincidence
Kershaw always went deep. But he did miss 2 months
Yes kazmir could have been better

Basically what they did was use tons of relievers. The reason they didn't get tired is cause they use a ton of options on guys and just brought up fresh arms every so often. Claimed a few guys on waivers, DL'd guys, traded for a few at the deadline

Dodgers had the most bullpen innings in the NL and 2nd fewest starter innings. Its funny. You look at the top 10 in these categories and theyre all last place except the dodgers. I love forward thinking front offices

It can be done. You just need depth

expecting starters to only give you four innings over the course of 162 games is not sustainable over the long run at all.

I want a game seven so Kluber can transcend this realm of existence.

He is the star of what might be my favorite meme of all time, so he deserves immortality.

Dodgers did it
Innings leaders 175, 149, 136, 100

You just need depth. Cant rely on 5 starters and 7 relievers all year.

And having 1 guy who can go deep is obviously preferable. If kersh was healthy he goes over 200 innings. Hes the one with 146 tho

Their starters average 5 1/3 per start on the season.

Whats the gameplan when guys run out of options?
true

But you could sign or trade for bud norris types lol

Or piggy back guys

But the thing with teams, you always have guys with options
And to go all in with this you must be prepared

Saw on Twitter that if the tribe finishes it off, 2 cleveland teams will have won a title since the last time the browns won a game

Man schwarber batting 2nd

Its funny how the lack of DH hurt the cubs more than the indians

Indians better show up

And on another note, the NL needs a DH.

It definitely hurts the Indians tho, we just decided to play our DH in left field despite him basically never playing there before
