2015-2016 hes 8th in warelcheato said:They traded a top 30 prospect in the entire league for a guy who isn't even a top 10 2nd baseman in the league
All good trades aren't overpay haha, that's what makes it a good trade.Mexi said:2015-2016 hes 8th in war
It may seem like an overpay on paper but remember, pretty much all trades are. Look at the adam eaton trade for example
De leon is also like 7th or 8th on the depth chart for the dodgers
And dont know how else the dodgers could improve their 2b search
The difference between dozier and forsythe is minimal. And to get dozier it was going to cost a lot more than 1 prospect
And again, the dodgers used chase utley last year. This is a huge improvement
I don't think it was selling low. Forsythe was a 4 win player in 2015 and 3 wins in 2016. He's a solid player traded for an unproven pitcher. Dodgers still have a ton of pitching depth anyways.elcheato said:Selling low on someone because it's a position of strength, and you need something else isn't very smart or analytical. It's reactionary. They couldn't get Dozier and panicked is what this looks like to me
He's a solid player, above average. To give up a prospect that highly touted/rated, I would need better, even if I have depth there.snipezo said:I don't think it was selling low.
