So the plan for the Celtics to vanquish LeBron, is to let their best player leave so they can use one of their few assets to draft his replacement?
Vanquish Lebron? I'm pretty sure our plan isn't currently to usurp the guy whose made 6 straight finals (or is it 7?)

Fultz and Ball are universally desired by teams across the league as potential superstar buildingblocks. Why would the Celtics abandon their future so they can still not beat Cleveland?

The Celtics' future is destined to forever be "decent" apparently

If you have to use "fouls drawn" as a defense for a player being "good" then that pretty much confirms that he isn't.

And why would I be watching him when a real team is playing right now?

They showed Westbrook before the game, and Walton just asked if he was on a hospital bed

Oh, we've got a guy who will finish top 5 in MVP voting? Should probably get rid of him to build around a new rookie.

So we should do what Toronto is doing?

Like as a Cavs fan, would you put $100 on the Cavs making the Finals at -100, or put $100 on Toronto to make the Finals at +1000?

I'd venture to guess you'd take the latter, as should everybody. Betting to beat Lebron, who hasnt not been in the Finals since 2010 is just delusional

They're just going to be treading water forever if a move isn't made to seriously try to win

So lets never try then? Maybe if teams stepped up and made moves in the east , theyd have a chance to take him out
