So the plan for the Celtics to vanquish LeBron, is to let their best player leave so they can use one of their few assets to draft his replacement? 

Vanquish Lebron? I'm pretty sure our plan isn't currently to usurp the guy whose made 6 straight finals (or is it 7?)
 
Fultz and Ball are universally desired by teams across the league as potential superstar buildingblocks. Why would the Celtics abandon their future so they can still not beat Cleveland?

I'd venture to guess you'd take the latter, as should everybody. Betting to beat Lebron, who hasnt not been in the Finals since 2010 is just delusional

So lets never try then? Maybe if teams stepped up and made moves in the east , theyd have a chance to take him out
