The Brooklyn picks are way more valuable than Jabari Parker is, and Jae's contract is undeniably better than Parker's. Parker makes $12,156,712 over the next two seasons before he's an RFA and gets paid a fuck ton. Crowder makes $28,203,883 over the next four years.

So assuming Parker would get paid $20m/yr when he hits FA (that's even less than Steven Adams, Giannis, and Oladipo got this year), the next four years Parker would make $52m in the same time Crowder makes $28m.

That alone makes me say this would never happen. Jabari may or may not be better than Crowder (I'd like to say Jae is far better defensively than Parker is an offensive upgrade), and maybe it would be done if it were a 1-v-1 swap, but it'd be idiotic to give up the two Brooklyn picks. Anyone in the Top 5 of this draft > Crowder or Parker

I'm not even a big Jae Crowder fan, but in terms of fitting into a role and helping a team in multiple ways, I'd rather have Crowder.

Parker obviously has more potential and is younger, but that's not reason enough to add lotto pick(s).

I'm not a huge Crowder guy either. But Boston isn't asking him to put up 20 shots a night -- he's a 3&D role player on an amazing contract. Like for fucks sake, he makes less than Delavedova does smh

Boston does need another big time scorer, but Jabari really isn't that either. And is a severe defensive downgrade from Crowder too

Jabari is only 21 and he will improve a lot over the next few years. His jump shot is already getting better

I'd rather keep Jae and take the risk on Josh Jackson/Fultz/Ball/Isaac being that scorer

Hunting for assists lol. That pass was the right basketball play.

You'd be called selfish if you don't give up the ball when a rotating big man is helping out and leaving his man.

NY/Boston is alright as an opener
Dubs/Cavs is obviously huge..

But then we get chicago/spurs. Barf
Minny/okc is pretty meh

Why would they have put Houston on Christmas after how they played last year?

Houston isn't exactly much watch either. They have a guy, and score some points. I just kinda want to see them play, but i aint gonna break an appointment to see it.

Houston was one of the worst teams to watch last year, and there's an excitement level that comes with a team full of youth.

Not a huge deal man. It's Christmas, the Cavs-Warriors is gonna set some kind of ratings record, and the rest don't matter anyway.
