"Increase Westbrook's workload to the 44.3 minutes per game Robertson played in 1961-62, and Westbrook would be at 39.9 points, 14.6 rebounds and 13.3 assists per game"

Let that sink in fellas

Lets put some respek on this hall of famer CC ;)

Youre one of those to call him a statpadder

Which is alright, you have your own opinion

Steph Curry in 2016: "If I get to 399 (three-pointers), I will chuck. That's the only thing I can guarantee."

Now think

What exactly is your argument here? You're denying that Westbrook stat pads by pointing out that someone else stat pads?

My arguement is that when youre 1 three away, or 2 assists away from a record, you just wanna get it out the way and let all this bullshit difuse a week before the playoffs.

Is it that hard to understand guys, come on

Joking about chucking to get one three pointer on the season is hardly stat padding

Im literally talking to guys who have prolly seen 3 thunder games this year so what should i even expect smh

Reddit is in your heads bros, watch some games and see it for yourselves

Theyd have 30 wins, id be wit yall about statpadding

Idt u guys realize that its close to impossible to "statpad" AND WIN at the pace okc are. Whats also funny is that he was basically doing this with KD and Ibaka on the team, but its a year of hating Russ so its aaalll understandable

Do you fellas

I'm not hating on anything he did, I'd vote him as MVP, but at first you tried to deny he was stat padding, and now you're embracing it by saying everyone does it.

Not even sure what the general argument here is.

He's had a great, MVP worthy season.
He and his teammates work together for him to get 10+ rebounds a game, I don't think anyone can deny that.

On the other side if anyone says him statpadding significantly hurts his team, you'd essentially give him even more credit because that would mean this Thunder team lead by Russell Westbrook should be a 50+ win team, which nobody said before the season started.

Can we just say that he's had a great year and that he definitely actively tries to get a triple double? Because both are true.

I don't think getting ten rebounds is that impossible of a feat, especially if your big men are in on it.
2.5 rebounds per quarter is not ruining your general game plan

Hes a rare rebounding guard in the nba , we can agree there right, bc he always has been, not just this year all of a sudden

He got 8 last year with KD getting 8 and Ibaka getting his

Whats two more after two key rebounders left the team?

What u guys also keep forgetting is that him rebounding is their gameplan bc of the fastbreak opportunity, but its hard to know that if you dont watch the games(not knocking at you at all, wouldnt expect many people to watch the thunder) , but its absolutely true. Thunder dont have scorers all around so easy transition buckets is what they live off

which is why most people here are not making that big of a deal over 10 rebounds. It's arbitrary

Just how people make those little videos of russ getting easy rebounds, theres literally other videos of him getting rebounds over 3 people, or completely embarrasing a few big men

So i mean it can go either way, gotta look both ways before walking

Well you guys are, bc hes "statpadding" according to some of you

I dont see that being some impossible feat when hes always rebounded before this year, and had 8 last year

Not like he usually averaged 4, and this year came in and got 11.

Assists too, had 11 last year, 10.5 this year so i just dont get the stat padding comments

The entire team literally runs thru his hands. The only reason his usage and stats are impressive is because they are 11 games above .500 . Hes literally the entire team

And the beta comment was funny CC

You got it twisted tho, bc an alpha WOULD go for the triple double and do it HIS WAY, while a beta would sit back and take a backseat to a 73-9 core and let his friends win 13 in a row without him, oooh and a ring lmao
