Just completely ignores how the 55-27 Thunder were too good but Pop would figure something out against the 73-9 Warriors.

Thunder are too good with two MVPs (technically 1 for now) but the Spurs are gonna give the Warriors troubles this year even though they have 2 (actual) MVPs?

A few inconsistencies with logic here.

You're all arguing over something pointless. It didn't happen so we don't know, period.

Stop being so salty. KD made a decision he was free to make, the time to be upset about it was 8 months ago

Thunder aren't going to catch the Clippers, them catching the Jazz seems more likely even though they're 2.5 games up.

Clippers have games against Suns, Lakers, and Kings, non of whom want to win those games. That puts LAC at 48 wins with games against SA, Houston and Dallas. I would imagine they only need one of those to at least tie the Thunder's best case scenario in which case it would go to the tiebreaker. Tiebreaker is too tough to figure out right now, Thunder currently up via a conference record of 26-20 over the Clippers record of 25-21(I would imagine Thunder hold here). The Jazz schedule is pretty tough from here on out with: WAS, @SA, POR, MIN, @POR, @GS, SA, though I would imagine SA and GS are resting their guys at that point

You realize that people like you created this reality with the talk of having to win rings to validate your career? Like if Durant never wins a ring it doesn't mean he isn't one of the (20?) greatest players of all time even though many people would completely knock him for that whether or not it's deserved. This whole idea around judging a player solely based on the number of rings he wins is why you see these players creating the best situation possible to win, why they're resting during a random regular season game that doesn't really mean much. The only thing that really matters is how many rings you win, except apparently that isn't good enough anymore. Now you need to win a ring taking the most difficult path possible, anything less and your a coward or not a competitor. Then players get labeled as not wanting to win because they're resting even though the point of resting is to win the only thing that they've been told matters, rings.

You're gonna say that a ring in OKC is worth 3 in GS or something dumb like that, it's not true, and a ring in GS is worth more than none in OKC. Then you might say that KD would get more credit for going to Boston or staying in OKC and failing than going to GS and succeeding, which is laughable. Does Karl Malone ever get credit for staying in Utah and not winning? Does Patrick Ewing get credit for staying in NYK and not winning? No, and KD wouldn't either

Point is, stop judging and comparing players based on how many rings they win and maybe they wouldn't be stacking the deck in their favour, even though there's nothing wrong with that.

Curry Klay Draymond Iggy went out to the store, bought the ingredients, cooked the meal, got the table ready, and KD just stopped by to have a nice ass meal

As mexi said before, he aint even gonna help to wash the dishes

For the 5th+ time tho

Idc that he left. Its where he went. A competitor simply doesnt take that road.

The difference between reggie, ewing etc and durant tho is that a guy like reggie NEVER even had a real sidekick , AND still didnt leave. Like thats an actual excuse, id understand if a guy like reggie wanted to leave who was simply in a shitty situation to begin with and still made the best out if, but KD? He had the help, had the sidekick, 3 minutes away from the finals, he had it all, just doesnt have the competitive spirit to go back next year and go at it again

But we live in an era with the mentality of if you cant beat em, join em so i guess thats what KD is all about, which is OKAY, just not my cup of tea thats all

Also, he would still prolly end up a top 20 player if he didnt win

Where would he rank if he won lets say 2 with the warriors?

Top 15? Sick

But it wont be forgotten
