Sacramento should start taking calls for Cousins. There can't honestly be a single person who thinks they have a realistic chance at keeping him in free agency nor are they're gonna contend this or next season.
Trade him while he's this beast.

what would you think would be the best offer they could get for him if they were to move him prior to the trade deadline?

obviously I would think Boston has the top offer, with the 2017 Brooklyn 1st as the headliner, and then following assets of Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Terry Rozier, and the 2018 Brooklyn 1st being available as well (plus the Jerebko and Zeller contracts to match salary)

idk who else could top that offer. Lakers probably wouldn't want to move Ingram or DLo so I doubt they'd be much in play. Sixers have assets but Cousins isnt staying in Philly so they won't. Maybe Minnesota on a deal centered around Kris Dunn, and they try to convince Boogie that in an age of small ball, that Cousins+Towns would be so dominant since Towns can play the 4 and nobody could stop them on the interior. But idk what else MIN would offer outside of Towns and maybe LaVine.

That'd be a straight robbery. Celtics would never recover

Trading Cousins seems nearly impossible.

The Kings likely wouldn't get nearly equal talent in return, and no other team that would want him would want to give up what it would take to convince the Kings to pull the trigger.  I'm not sure if any team that adds Cousins will be good enough to beat the Cavs or Warriors in the next few years anyway.

obviously biased, but if the celtics had a starting five of Horford/Cousins/Crowder/Bradley/Isaiah with Smart or Jaylen off the bench as the Tony Allen defender, they'd be as good as Cleveland. Boston's probably the lone team in the league that wouldn't have to move a starter to get a really good player in return

Boogie's not going anywhere. We can't expect the most incompetent franchise in all of sports to make a move that would actually benefit them years from now.
