Kawhi travelled on that game winner.
Refs will never have the balls to call a travel late in games.

Not sold on the Raptors being able to compete with Cleveland yet lol. Even though we're without Lowry

You should never be sold on that

I mean I was kind of sold on us being able to make it harder than last year... still was sure Cleveland would beat us.

Last year was tough too... we played 2 game sevens, I was hoping we could be better than that too. Time will tell but I'm not sooo optimistic... I do like the moves we made regardless though.

Are you completely ruling out Russell winning it? I don't think he should, but I can totally see the voters giving it to him.

Say whatever you want about the usage or the efficiency, he's averaging a triple double and leading the league in scoring.  He's pretty clearly the MVP favorite right now.

He said it's a lock, I don't think he's even the favourite let alone a lock to win

31.2 ppg on 10.1/24 shooting, 10.3 apg, 10.6 rpg on a 7th seed
28.8 ppg on 8.1/18.6 shooting, 11.3 apg, 8 rpg on a 3rd seed

If Harden took as many shots as Westbrook does, he'd be the higher scorer. He's already averaging more assists. He's clearly leading his team to a better record (6.61 SRS v 0.82 SRS) on an equally bad team.

The main reason for you taking Westbrook over Harden is because Russ averages two more rebounds per game, as point guards? It's such a weak argument.

To be fair, if harden took more shots, he'd get less assists as a result. Let's use common sense here.

I'm not necessarily taking Westbrook.  I'm saying the voters will because most of them are dumb as fuck and way behind the analytics moment.

Since you love to do these comparisons

Norris Cole
Victor Oladipo
Doug McDermott
Taj Gibson
Steven Adams

Is not better than

Patrick Beverley / Lou Williams
Eric Gordon
Trevor Ariza
Ryan Anderson
Clint Capela

Come on man.

You can't put out the most ideal situations for Houston, but put in a random list for OKC. List what was actually used instead of random lines

The two most used lineups with Harden were with Capela, Anderson, Ariza, and Beverley / Gordon (Beverley has 90 minutes more with those 4 than Gordon does). For OKC it is Adams, Sabonis, Roberson, and Oladipo, by a significant minutes gap from the next tier.

I'm actually shocked how little Westbrook plays with Kanter, because he was a huge part of my reasoning for what I said.

And in either case, both of those supporting casts are not good. Yes, Houston's is better, but its still weak as fuck.

How is that a random group? I put the best player at each position for both teams? I'm sorry OKC's lack of a supporting cast startled you
