Defensive rebounding is laughable tho lmao . 5.5 this year, him and horford racing for the softest center in the league award. Or maybe laziest

I didnt say he was a good rebounder

But hes an elite rim protector

Cavs are super vulnerable. Standing pat would be a mistake for boston or toronto imo

Ivica Zubac is the best 2nd round center ive ever seen
And hes 19

How was this guy not a first rounder??
he has legit soft hands around the basket. Touch

Great steal for the lakers

Being a good rim protector and a good defender is different tho. Yea he blocks shots , but his rotations are slow , hes slow on his feet, he cant switch bc teams will just eat him on the perimeter, not very good in pnr defense, just meh. Nothing to even have a conversation about , lets talk about someone relevant

Marc Gasol is certainly no Zubac.

So why bring up rebounding if there's so much more to being a good defender?

U do realize getting defensive rebounds is part of defending and protecting your rim right?

Rebounds go into defense too bc u have to rebound the ball to finish the defensive possesion

Would think an AAU coach would teach u such things but forgot u started watching basketball in 08 so u didnt even play basketball

Ok my hyperbole strikes again

I thought jokic was a first rounder. Nvm. Hes a beast for sure

Marc also is a beast, but he didnt come straight over as a 19 year old. Took him like 2 years

Im sure theres plenty of other guys(dont mention ben wallace i know hes undrafted)

Point is, zubac is good. Idk how he was a 2nd rounder. Same for jokic too. That guy is special

rebounds arent everything man
Im sire you think kevin love is soft, pau, blake, lamarcus, etc

I know brook isnt a great rebounder. I never said he was
But hes a great rim protector and help defender. The numbers are there

Praying to god Embiid stops getting hurt , because minus the occasional three pointers he takes , he reminds me alot of the old school bigs

Mini Hakeem

Brook would give toronto their much needed 3rd scorer and upgrade their interior defense

Toronto is stagnant. They need a change

And again, cleveland is super vulnerable. Someone make a move and take advantage while you can
Ainge and Masai are just as responsible for cleveland going to another finals as lebron is

Just realized this is all mike dunleavys fault
If he didnt suck they wouldnt have traded him and Maybe mo will could have given them some minutes. Doesnt hurt to try!

And obviously JR getting hurt really killed them. Theres your 3rd ball handler right there
