Rockets lost, Thunder lost, Embiid played great, and Marcus Smart 2-13 shooting.

Couldn't ask for a more peaceful night on The Sports Forum.

its a shame that his shooting isn't good at all, because he's been really good at almost everything else

44/49 from the FT line as of late
his passing vision has been REALLY good (def the best on the team)
his patience in the P&R is really good
defensively always a lockdown guy. if he didn't flop as much i'd say he'd be a lock for All Defensive 1st/2nd Team

Literally if his shooting becomes not horrible he could be so good lol. Most of his misses yesterday were from trying to back down Schroder or Bazemore, and while he's strong for a PG he's still not a low post player. His 3pt shot actually isn't god awful anymore lol

Saying he'd be good if he could shoot is like saying Stevie wonder could've been a good nascar driver if he could see

Poor shooters can improve their shot, though.

I don't think blind people can practice their eyesight.

Kawhi was a bad shooter when he was a teenager in college. It's a little different

He's 15/29 from the corner this year, and has shot 39.47% from three since Christmas Day

His shot selection is more than half of his problem, but to say a 22 year old can't improve his shot seems shortsighted. He easily could peak at a 40/31/75 shooter and be a more douchey Tony Allen with passing ability, but he's still fairly young and making strong improvements in his third year

Hell, Jimmy Butler in his third year (although he didnt really play in his rookie year so its kinda year two for him) at age 24 shot 28.3% from three and now he's averaging 25ppg for the Bulls
