The idea that Jae Crowder could start on a championship team baffles me
His stats this year are across the board either better or the same as JR Smith's last year

I have never once said he'd be a star on a championship team

But to say he couldn't be a starter when we've seen guys like JR Smith, Harrison Barnes, Mario Chalmers, Mike Miller, Boris Diaw, Shane Battier, and Shawn Marion all be starters on a championship team within the past 5-6 years is just ridiculous

I'm sick of DeAndre Liggins starting. Put Korver there so he gets good looks early

makes sense to me

you have kyrie, lebron, and love in that first unit. offense is not what is missing from that group

you put thompson out there for low post defense, and you put liggins out there for perimeter defense. JR while known for his offense is actually a good defender. starting korver over liggins might challenge the blazers for worst starting backcourt defensively

have korver and other offensive threats come in while one of lebron or kyrie takes a rest, to supplement the scoring loss

Except for the fact that Korver is almost worthless if he's on the floor with Felder and Shumpert instead of Kyrie and Lebron

Shump is supposed to be a defense first guy. Why not give him a shot

Shump peaked on that Knicks team that beat Boston in the playoffs

Liggins is actually good defensively, and understands he's not good offensively so he doesn't try too much.

Shumpert is literally terrible at everything, but has this belief that he's a good scorer. Awful

He's not nearly the offensive player Smith is. Now obviously smith is a bit of a mixed bag, but Crowder's not the scorer smith is, not even close.
