Dude get off my dick and stop being a smartass. Read all the damn posts, i explained the difference. When u have 4 other all stars on your team its ALOT easier to do what curry is doing vs what russ is doing and carrying a bunch of bums the way hes doing and staying relevant.

If what russ is doing isnt impressive , youve got some serious hate issues for him and of coure kobe cuz u used to be the same way with him smh

Just because it's easier doesn't mean he's not as good of a player. It's funny how you're only bringing up stats when they help your argument. I don't hate Russ at all, I really like watching him play, but the shit you say about him is stupid

The Suns were league average on defense while starting Amare at center and Nash at point and giving heavy minutes to Barbosa, that's impressive

For arguments sake, lets just say this statement is true (which it's absolutely not but whatever)

If Westbrook is better than Curry in every aspect except shooting, then he must have been last year as well. Curry didn't just magically lose the ability to pass the ball, dribble, finish, etc.

Last year Westbrook only beat Curry in rebounds and assists (which didn't help that Draymond was stealing assists from Curry all year, but not the point). Curry was the unanimous regular season MVP, and you've even alluded to that Curry was better than Russ last year (saying "If this is strictly this year...")

So what's changed in the scenarios between Curry and Westbrook? Neither had major surgeries in this timeframe, affecting their physical abilities. The difference is one team lost a 28ppg scorer and now is reliant on their point guard to do everything, while the other point guard gained that same scorer and now does not need to be trying nearly as hard to carry the team.

Does Westbrook put up better numbers this season? Sure. He's hosting an NBA high usage percentage and is trying to control every aspect of the game. Curry has the ball in his hands significantly less than he did last year.

But neither player is really all that different from last year in their abilities, and that's my point. On a vague, unfocused level it appears that Curry has regressed and Westbrook has significantly improved. When the truth is their circumstances have just changed regarding their necessities of reliance for their respective teams.

Russ isn't a better defender or passer, also that shooting thing masked a pretty big difference. 
 
Loo yea yea cause he's supposed to be able to turn terrible defenders into a top tier defense. Thins couldn't have those guys running a top ten defense. It's about the situation, not just numbers, or is that different in this scenario cause it doesn't fit your argument?? 
 
This year they're 18th, and the difference between them and 10th is less than the difference between first and third, but when you have the fourth best offender of all time I think it's ok for your defense to be average
