best salary-controlled player in the nba (outside steph curry) who's shooting 40% from 3 and plays near-lockdown perimeter defense and the #3 overall pick?

you do realize that when shitty teams try to trade their players, they aren't gonna get equal value back, right? like your whole "kings shouldnt trade boogie unless they got klay in return" argument was absolutely retarded. It's not a great return for Butler, but at the same time who is trying to offer up for him? I highly doubt LA would since they are far from competing and thatd be a waste of their assets

I don't think that trade is good. If you get rid of Brown and Crowder and it's just salary for Butler, that seems fair.

I was shooting the shit with boogie because for as great as he is, he's nearly impossible to trade because teams wont give up anything and the kings will say no to everything

It was the best trade i could even imagine, and i acknowledged it would never happen

yeah if you're the kings -- it was a shitty deal for the warriors and ive explained many times why its an awful deal that only works for 2k

i highly doubt minnesota moving wiggins, even though they should in this scenario
orlando doesnt have assets lol. hezonja looks awful in the nba, and gordon isn't nearly as dominant as he should. neverless, its no stronger than boston's deal

denver has assets, but again its the opposite direction of where theyd be going. they arent gonna move jokic and murray and have literally just butler

Noel is the opposite direction for the bulls, and saric is a throwin value player. and lol @jah

Also, Jae Crowder will not finish the season over 40% from 3.

You don't trade a star when the best player you're getting back has hit his ceiling as a role player.

i mean jaylen is the centerpiece of the deal, not crowder.
