It's a shame too, because I thought the Bengals with Dalton had a shot to take the AFC this year.
 
I know Dalton has a tendency to shrink the brighter the lights get, but he really turned a corner this season, and Cincy has a damn good squad.  I hope he's back for the playoffs.

Aside from the Patriots, their QB situation is the most stable of any AFC playoff team, and they have a great defense.
 
Without Dalton, whoever ends up in the 6 spot could beat the Bengals, which would allow the Chiefs to avoid the Pats until the AFC championship game, and if they get there, anything can happen.
 
They won't make the Super Bowl, but they have a pretty decent shot.
 
They need to hold down the 5 spot for them to have the best chance, though.
