I didn't say the bills defense isn't good. But this upcoming week will prove my point. Brady will be fine versus Buffalo, and Luck is going to struggle versus the Jets

I mean he's had one game since 2006 where he threw 3+ interceptions (yes it was Buffalo, in 2011). His last "game" (because Week 17 doesn't count, even if he didn't throw a pick) versus Buffalo, he threw 4TDs, 0 INTs, and 360yds... The Bills have 3 career wins versus New England in the Belichick Era, compared to the 23 we have, and one of them was Wk17 last year when we played our 2nd and 3rd stringers, which doesn't count

People are attacking the decision to throw as dumb, which isn't wrong, but the other stupid decision is one that I saw happen twice during week one (Broncos made a similar decision and it almost cost them): they decided to kick the field goal. The obvious logic is that it puts you up 6, so the opposing team has to score a touchdown instead of kick a field goal. Why it's stupid, though, is that there is a much higher chance you lose the game by doing that.
 
The Giants should have taken a gone for it on fourth down. If you score the touchdown, the game's over. If you don't score, the Cowboys are playing for a field goal and have awful starting position. By kicking the field goal, you not only give them better field position to start, you have their offense playing for a touchdown (i.e. much more aggresively). If they're playing for the field goal, there's a good chance they settle for a long field goal that could be missed, and in most situations you are winning or going to OT. Instead, the Cowboys were going for it all and drove down the field easily to win.
 
The situation occurred twice (that I saw) this week. The Giants made the wrong decision and it lost them the game (the clock mismanagement obviously didn't help either, but it doesn't invalidate my point). The Broncos made the wrong decision and they were a Steve Smith dropped catch away from losing.
 
The most baffling part is that apparently the Giants players were told not to score a touchdown. Is Tom Coughlin on drugs?
 
Imagine if they had competent coaching on that last drive... The Cowboys would have started with the ball on their own one with 40 seconds left.

 
I think they should have just ran it on third down and if they didn't score, they'd at least take a good 40 seconds off the clock. Passing was fine, but if nobody was open, Eli should have just went to the ground. I wouldn't have went for it, I would have still taken the FG to go up 6. The chances of them going down and scoring a TD under 40 seconds isn't very high. I'd take those chances rather than give them the ball at the 1 just needing a FG, plus it was at Dallas so it's not like they would have had to deal with crazy crowd noise starting at their own 1-2 yard line. With the crap defense the Giants were playing, they would have been in FG range in no time. 
 
The way I look at it is.. If your defense can't hold your opponent 80 yards (TD) in under 40-50 seconds, you don't deserve to win the game anyway. I also completely hate that prevent/conservative defense crap. The only times I agree with it is when you have a huge lead or if there's just a couple seconds left where the offense only has a couple plays left to run and need a TD, otherwise I completely despise it. As for the Giants/Eli telling guys not to score, that is one of the most pathetic things I've ever heard. 
 
The Cowboys were getting what? 10-20 yards per pass play by that crap? I hate it. More times than not the crap probably works but I still hate it. That's one thing I respect about the Patriots, they play hard until the very end and they play aggressively throughout. If they need a first down to end the game, they will do whatever it takes to get the first down and not do some conservative BS where they punt the ball and give the other team a chance. Of course going for it definitely would be the kind of aggressive stuff I'm talking about, so I can't really say it's a terrible idea lol

I'm not ready to drink the Kool-Aid yet, but I think we have a completely revamped team this season that will contend with the Pats. Regardless, we usually play you guys tough as is the last few years anyways. Sunday will be a great test for the Bills.

Rex Ryan was the perfect coach for the Bills IMO. It's nice to have something to look forward to

Im riding that Bills bandwagon all year, Ive got a very good feeling about them.

Julio Jones is going to definitively show that hes a top 2 WR this year, gonna get more targets and be the primary weapon over Roddy.

How is this any different than last year? He was probably the #3 or #4 WR last season, and that's because Odell went nuts. Now that Dez broke his foot, and teams will continue to focus more on OBJ, Julio will be the league's "#2 WR", but its not like he's going to be that much better than last year. He's always been a stud

I see your point but pretty much every team would have done what the Giants did and kicked the FG to go up 6. I think that was the right thing to do. Everything before that was just poorly managed. If they handled it the right way to begin with, we wouldn't even be talking about it. When the Cowboys were at the Giants 25-30 yard line, there was like 25-30 seconds left, the game would have already been over if they ran off the time like they should have beforehand.
