OK, so that UCLA shot definitely wasn't going in....but why on god's green earth would you jump up to touch that ball? I mean, come on. That's common sense. Don't even take the chance. From the above the rim view, it looked like it had a chance to draw iron. Because of that, and based on that possibility, it will be deemed the correct call.

Now, I would hope that officials would use more caution when making that kind of call. You HAVE to be sure it has a chance at hitting the basket, imo, and there no view from the floor that indicated as such. Nevertheless, the shot clock/above the hoop camera justifies the call. It sucks that a game ended that way, but what kind of dumbass makes that play in the first place?

The only problem I really had was that the ref who did make the call had no possible angle on that at all. He was on the opposite side of the floor.
