Matt Barnes really shot and made a half court shot to win the game, and the clock was at 4 seconds when he shot it.
You forgot to mention the most important part: Memphis had three timeouts still they could have used.

had they called a time out they wouldn't have gotten that clean of a look and he still had guys by him. it was the right thing to do. even our play by play agreed with it.

A clean look at half court isn't really even a "clean look". It's just a prayer

not really. i used to practice half court shots. so calling it a prayer is a stretch. im not sitting here saying it was the ideal shot but it's what they needed

It's a clean look in the sense that rarely will a defender guard you when you take that shot, but that's because it's a <5% shot at best.  They'd let you heave that shit all day if you wanted.

yea and had he called timeout we wouldnt have given up a high quality shot or had he kept going to get closer three guys would have been around him(i believe we had three guys closing in on him).

There were three seconds left when he shot it, and five seconds left when the Grizzlies initially got the rebound. They could have called a timeout and had side out of bounds with 5 seconds left, and you're saying that they can't draw up a play better than a half court heave to get off in that time?
