73 might be bad for them.  They're gonna be burned out by the playoffs.

How are they gonna be burned out when their starters never have to play in the 4th?

73 with the way they demolish even good teams would actually be better than anything. They'd all get plenty of rest and would be in the kind of rhythm we've never seen before.

Unless somebody figures out away to stay glued to Steph and make everybody else beat them, who's going to knock off this team in a series?

"Burned out" doesn't necessarily mean physically burned out.

Those blowout wins really take a toll on your psyche

If they really are good enough to win 72+ without going balls to the wall every night, then that's fine, but if they're actively pushing for the all-time record, they'll essentially be in playoff mode for 82 games.

They're a young team so I'm sure they'll stay hungry, but having already won a title, I wonder if they'd stay focused on the end game.

In other news, Kobe had more points than attempts last night for the first time in three years, probably.

They won 67 games last year without actively trying to break a record. 6 more wins isn't that much.

I'd say it's worth it. It's just that big of an accomplishment. We have champions every year. We only have one best regular season record.

If you win 73 and you run out of gas in the playoffs, fine, you fucked up. But the chance of going all the way and being called the best team all of time outweighs the risk of losing in the playoffs and being a little ridiculed.

And they already have a title, so it's not as if they're under all this pressure to get one.

I think it's time to spread the wealth and let a team out East win IMO

I will guarantee a 76ers title before the self-proclaimed King wins another one.

Aron Baynes is such a waste of space. It's always fun to see Stan Van Gundy disgusted in person lol
