Im sure kd will think about boston. Brad stevens, a team of role players, obviously would add someone besides kd

But has boston ever signed a top free agent? I cant think of any

id rather be in boston than ny. still close enough to that atmosphere but in boston its more homey, and the winning team history is better. right now the team is light years ahead too.

We haven't had cap space for a premium FA since like 1991. So no, but not because they didn't choose us; we couldn't afford them

And like, yeah, obviously I'm biased, but the Celtics are really inticing if I were Durant

We could sign Al Horford, still have Bradley, Crowder, Smart, Olynyk, Isaiah, etc, and have the #1 overall pick. And STILL have cap space for a KD max. Our FAs are Jerebko, Turner, Sullinger, and Amir -- nobody that needs to be retained. And we can move other players in a deal for a 3rd superstar if available, and still have tons of talent

I would like to think we're a top 5 destination for Durant, along with OKC, CLE, SA, and GS.

Im not saying the celtics are swinging and missing on their free agents
I just couldn't remember them ever signing anyone worth anything at all lol

And Boston is definitely a team he's gonna look at. Just not sure id hed go, but I wouldn't blame him for ditching okc

That team is still worse than OKC

if he stays in okc, hes not winning a championship. for whatever reason and however it'd work, i really think golden state is an option. or he goes east.

Ha
Magic had a jumper out of 1950
Nasty 1 handed shot. I know you can pause all shooters and they shoot with 1 hand, but magic's was like 1 hand immediately and not at the apex

Marion though. Every time i tried shooting like him it was nasty bricks lol's

the team is not worse at all

If you took Westbrook and Durant off that team, they are putrid bad. Obviously Russ is amazing, but he doesn't automatically make them a great team, just a better one. The Celtics have the significantly better coach, and would a far better supporting cast overall. Yeah, nobody is close to as good as Russell that would be on the Celtics. But they hardly are scrubs. Isaiah is an All Star scoring PG. Bradley is a solid 15ppg and elite defender. Jae crowder is a Top 10 SF in the league. And we could get Horford potentially too.

Plus he could actually go far in the East, because he's not getting past steph curry any time soon

Yeah take 50% of the reason a team is so good off of a team, and they'll be a lot worse. That Celtics team is not better than OKC is right now, and you can be a homer all you want (pretty obvious with some of the points you made above), but this isn't happening either way, because free agents don't go to Boston.

I'd take a slightly worse team (which I wouldn't necessarily agree with, depends on the other aquisitions) in the East than his current team in the West.
