Toronto offered a future first for Ryan Anderson and the Pels turned it down because it helped them "too far down the line" and they wouldn't need a rookie by that point. Dumbfucks

Stuff that shouldn't happen in 2016 either

KAT is having a better rookie season than Anthony Davis.

I doubt that means anything at all, but whatever.  Dude is gonna be so fucking good.

Yeah I asked the other day if soon we're going to consider Towns a better prospect

Nah, not a better prospect. He's more physically ready for the NBA than Davis was entering the league, but I would still say Davis has/had more upside.

Also, it's interesting that with both Davis and Towns, most fans didn't realize how good these guys were offensively going into the draft based on how they played at Kentucky. The narrative was that they were great defensively, but maybe not offensively, and each proved early into their career their offensive games were dynamic, and potentially superior to their defensive abilities.

I don't know if that's an indictment on Coach Cal not being able to properly utilize them at UK, or an indictment on college basketball being so restrictive and bogged down so they can't showcase their talent, but I'm going to blame college basketball like I usually do.

I don't know if this make sense, but Towns was a better immediate prospect whereas AD's ceiling was higher than any player we've seen come out of college ball in years.

It definitely makes sense, I'm just not positive it's accurate

Well, Towns already has an NBA build, which has helped him immensely. AD was a damn string bean and has since developed an injury history.
