they wont put the dpoy on usa you think?
I do
Barring injuries, 7 players are absolute locks (LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Curry, Harden, AD, CP3)

Assuming Kobe doesn't get a sympathy spot, that leaves 5 open roster spots for:

Melo (Olympic legend, I'd assume he's in)
Draymond
Kawhi Leonard
Kyrie Irving
Paul George
Jimmy Butler
Blake Griffin
Demarcus Cousins
LMA
Kevin Love
Dwight Howard
Andre Drummond

So it's not as cut and dry as you think

Doubt kyrie plays after his injury
Blake probably sits
Dwight isnt on

Kawhi is a near lock
Paul George if he wants it

The rest are tossups. I assume draymond has the advantage over lma because of the versatility

Itll come down to like klay vs butler
Drum vs boogie
And im betting a few of the absolutes will rest injuries(chris paul, durant namely)

It's the Olympics and with it being Coach K's last run, the players are going to want to play.

true
But i still stand by what i said

Id be pretty surprised if draymond didn't make it. Especially coming off his dpoy, 2nd title and top 5 mvp finish but thats just me

I'd almost bet Kobe has a spot reserved on the team if he wants it. I'd say we largely see the same team we always have.

LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Curry, Harden, AD, CP3, Kobe, Melo. Kawhi is probably a lock, there's probably something to be said for Paul George, and Blake with the final spot.
