Houston is 10-2 while starting Howard and Capela together. Hard to believe how quickly Clint Capela turned from a very raw rookie into an athletic contributor. 
 
Nevertheless, the Howard/DMo combination added an even bigger body than Capela to the lineup and provided outside shooting. Once Donatas is completely healthy, they need to work him back into the starting lineup.

Unless Dwight opts out, I suppose. Also, do you think he'll still get that offer if he never returns to form this season after a back injury?

yea he'll get a contract based on potential. a lot of piston fans want him next to drummond

Houston has about $10M in cap if Dwight and Capela are retained, which won't be enough for DMo ($12-14M est)

I'm not sure that's the best idea. He's a better post up player than floor spacer. He really developed some moves over the past couple of years.

yea im not fond of it but they seem to love the potential there. we dont need a three point shooter, just a guy to stretch the defense out.

Beat full strength SAS one night, lose to the Owls the next. Yikes.

I left the auto corrected Owls because it's a much better name than Pels.
