NBA Insider Reveals Potential Deal To Send Dwight Howard To The Celtics
 
Although it seemed before that DeMarcus Cousins could be on the move, winds have changed to settle on Dwight Howard being the big man of the hour for trade rumors.
ESPN NBA Insider Kevin Pelton explored potential trades to send Dwight Howard out of Houston, and the number one trade he sees happening is with the Boston Celtics.
 
Here’s how it would go down:

David Lee, Tyler Zeller, future first-round pick…Lee wouldn’t have much value to the Rockets, who might just buy him out. Besides offering some flexibility with the hard cap Houston is working under this year after using its non-taxpayer mid-level exception, this trade is all about getting one of Boston’s huge stockpile of picks to flip in another trade.
That could work out like when the Rockets traded Kyle Lowry to the Toronto Raptors for a lottery pick that ended up being a key part of the James Harden deal months later.

The Celtics don't have many players with high ceilings. I dont think it would be wise for them to deal any of those Nets picks for someone like Dwight, who is on the downside of his career (I'm assuming that they would have to give one of them up)

I think by future 1st it might be the 2018 BOS 1st (we have BKN 1st that year) or the MEM 1st we own
