Utah isn't going to live up to expectations

What are their realistic expectations? People are saying playoffs, but I don't see them beating Dallas for the 8 seed.

So if the expectations is 9th seed, I'd say it's entirely possible.

They won about 65% of their games after the all star break with Gobert in the lineup, which would equal roughly 54 wins over the course of the regular season.  54 wins would have given them the 7 seed last year.  Add KD to the Thunder this year, that would drop Utah one seed.

Utah as 8 seed confirmed.

Dude had a plastic mask on lol he knew he wasn't gonna get hurt. Gordon Hayward looking like wait did you really just slap him lol.

Utah looks really good though. A lot of promising looking young talent.

Think the Exum injury hurts though. Trey Burke isn't good

I didn't even know the preseason had started. I'm honestly a little bummed about basketball this year. Other sports have so much parity and I'm all but certain the NBA is going to shift back to the LeBrons or San Antonios winning the Finals again. Here's to hoping GSW, Houston, and LAC can retake the top end of the Western Conference. Maybe the Spurs are actually, finally done.

I'll be paying attention to what Memphis, OKC, and and NOP do at the top end, too. OKC could easily rise back up to an annual 1-2 seed.
