The Pels have a win and maybe two if Monty doesn't insist on having Gordon guard Steph late. When will he adjust?

That's why I don't want to hear anything about "Nobody gave them a game anyway" or "They had nothing to lose to begin with" or whatever. We literally had a chance to tie this series or even have the lead in it. A literal chance that is actual and existent. We blew it. We threw all that away. I don't care if we were the 76ers and they were the 96 Bulls. We had a legit chance to take this game, maybe even the last game. But we blew it. It goes beyond us being an 8th seed. No respectable NBA TEAM should have let this happen like that.

So youre telling me james could win mvp without a ton of 1st place votes?
He'll get more 2nds and prob more 3rds

And if someone votes russ mvp, then they GOTTA have harden 2nd right?

Have the lead in the series? What the hell are you smoking? Even if the Pelicans win Game 4 and tie it they aren't winning a 2-2 game at the Oracle

Weren't you saying 2 games ago that only Quincy should guard Curry?

Game 2 was tied in the 4th. If we pull that out and then dont choke tonight, that is a lead, sir. We had various chances.

That's cool though. I was thinking back to other teams that choked like this. Dallas choked vs Miami in 06, Miami choked vs Dallas in 11, Warriors choked in 13 vs Spurs. Shit happens. AD and the guys will have their day someday.

Sure, if you believe all games are completely independent and the result of Game 2 doesn't change Game 3 in any way.

Yes, I meant that he insists that Gordon should defend Curry late, not doesn't insist.

Nobody is saying they should have a lead, just that they could. He is 100% correct in saying that.

He definitely cannot win "without a ton" of 1st place votes. Needs to be in range of each other and more importantly people need to leave Steph off the ballot, which isn't gonna happen

Morning after and I'm still not any less irritated.

Curry scores 26 in the second half (plus OT) with Gordon defending him. Thompson scores 18 in the second half of Game 2 with Gordon defending him. This is a trend.

The Draymond Green flop, the Harrison Barnes flop, the Quincy Pondexter technical, and the Eric Gordon two that was really a three that the officials "pretended" to look at all infuriate me.

They couldn't overturn that Gordon shot. Evidence wasn't indisputable
