Obviously this team we saw in the finals would be a mess. 5th or 6th seed in the east

theyd have kyrie and wiggins to help hello

Lebron was exhausted cause they have no other ball handler

A healthy kyrie changes this series. They woulda won
How would Wiggins help? LeBron's game is predicated on spacing. Wiggins does not provide that. His role would be what Shumpert's is right now. He's obviously better than Shumpert, but he would get spot up corner threes, and the very rare break down where he would have to try to go to the rim.

You're still overstating it. Who knows how he would develop here, because he would never have the ball in his hands, which is what he needs to improve. How many years do we think LeBron has as the best player in the league? Maybe 2? The Cavs did the right thing, they needed to maximize his super peak years, no time to wait for Wiggins to develop.

To clarify

To win this series, they just needed kyrie
Love woulda helped, but they missed kyrie

Since they played well without love in the reg season and also in the playoffs, imo it woulda been nice to mold wiggins and watch him grow under lebrons tutelage

Wiggy probably wouldnt have made a difference this series, again kyrie wouldve, but down the line as lebron ages it would be nice to have wiggins with kyrie help his load

They needed both Kyrie and Love. They were loading up on LeBron, and they would have done the same with Kyrie. Love's shooting would have helped negate a lot of the great help defense Green was able to provide off of Thompson, because you don't have to respect his offensive game at all.

The Cavs can beat anyone in the East without Love, as they proved, but they can't win a championship without him. I imagine they could with more depth and shooting, but they don't have that at the moment.

Also, I said it before, but when LeBron starts to decline heavier, Love is obviously going to have a larger role, and will be closer to his T-Wolves days. I'd bet a lot of money on him having significantly better numbers next year.

I get it though, it's an interesting thought about Wiggins and the discussion on that won't go away unless the Cavs win a title. I was originally for just keeping him, but I just don't see how he would have developed enough. I also believe Love is staying long term, which no one else really does here I think, so that is a factor as well.

Cavs are gonna look different though next year. They're gonna use that 10+ mill Haywood contract and get someone impactful. Hopefully they can get a vet FA or two who isn't actually washed up.

A long time sixer won the title, iggy
A long time buck won the title. Bogut
A long time knick won the title. Lee(well hes been half and half but 5 years a knick)
A long time sun won the title. Barbosa
A ling time clipper won the title. Livy. (Might be a stretch but when i see shaun I still think clips)
Pretty cool

And then their starters all season were all drafted. Klay, steph, harrison, draymond

So does this put Steph at the top of the PG hierarchy over CP3, or was he already there?

How could you possibly say you'd rather Love over Wiggins?

They can find a way to win the championship within 3 years without Love, but regardless, when Love isn't there anymore or is washed up, would you rather those few years with him over a rising star who can lead the team for the next decade or so??? They gave up their future.

Congratz to Kerr and the Warriors organization, very well deserved and a great ending to a great season. Oh and 1 more thing:

Fuck you JR Smith.

>Lebron responsible for nearly 60% of all points the Cavs scored in the Finals.

>Iguodala wins finals MVP for his tremendous defense on Lebron James.
