Isn't the whole fucking point of this team that you shoot the damn threes?

The thing that's the problem for the Warriors... is that they are running the exact offense that won them 67 games in the regular season, but it just isn't working in the same way

Steph is being Steph, Klay is being Klay, Bogut is being Bogut... those 3 are for the most part playing the same. Steph was bad in Gm2, but he picked it up in the 2nd half of Gm3. And Iguodala has picked up his game significantly, and has been uber-vital for the Warriors being as close as they are.

The problem is the PF position, manned by Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes.

The pic that cheato put above where nobody guarded Draymond from 3... that's because he's shooting 13% from 3PT range. He's shooting half the 3PT% that Josh Smith was putting up in Detroit, to put it into perspective. Nobody needs to guard him.

And Barnes has missed the most open 3s that I've ever seen in a series. He's a 41% 3PT shooter in the regular season, and he either rims out or airballs the shot now.

The Warriors best line is the one they had for the Game 2 comeback, before they ultimately lost it. Draymond-Barnes-Iguodala-Thompson-Curry. It leaves Dray in the low post where he should be, and Barnes and Iggy spread the court. If Barnes could actually hit shots, it would help out the ball movement immensely. Because right now, all the Cavs need to do is be super tight on Curry and Klay. They'll leave Barnes open, or Draymond. It doesn't matter. If a Klay Thompson contested 3PT fadeaway is more likely to go in than a wide open Harrison Barnes 3, then the Cavs already won.

Draymond is doing everything but scoring.

I loved when he met LeBron at the rim and rejected the shit out of him in game 2. Have we ever seen that before?

I'm indifferent as to who wins, which I like a lot.

he loves to shoot 3s. Takes bad 3s all the time
Averages 4 3 attempts per game
That wide open you have to shoot

i never said a long two.

a shot from the top of the key isnt a long two. and when hes shooting as bad as he is, no confidence. gotta take an easier shot.

I personally think he's asked to do too much, physically. He might be just as strong as most players in this league but he's giving up several inches and quite a few pounds on the defensive end. Draymond is one tough motherfucker, and that's why he's my favorite NBA player, and I don't want to make excuses for him, but his shooting form has pretty much fallen apart and I wonder if the constant physical beating he's taking on defense has anything to do with it.

He plays power forward, he's expected to take a beating... If he didn't play PF he wouldn't be nearly as valuable

I'm saying his size causes his physical beating and the effort he has to put forth are greater than most power forwards.

And I said, he has to do that or he wouldn't be a valuable player

FTR, I don't expect him to start shooting better while dealing with back spasms. It's up to Barnes. Green will just have to be a bulldozer and hope others can step up.
