You can tell LeBron only has 15 points because he won't pass the god damn ball anymore.

The score of this game through 3 quarters is almost the same as the Wiz/Raptors though 4 quarters

Somebody finally tell Mark Jackson that this game will 100% not end in a draw.

Brad Stevens is pissed at the refs for slowing down the game. He has to get home and finish his algebra homework.

My overall summary of this game, from the Celtics POV.

First off, while I dont want to come off too bware-esque, the reffing in this game was VERY bad overall. LeBron got away with a lot of fouls, being no-calls. That Im more fine with, than Kevin Love, who literally pushes his body into the set defender, and fades away to get the call. That should be an offensive foul, but he gets the superstar call regardless. Granted, it is basically the same call that Pierce got away with for his entire career, but those were on spot up threes, not post up moves. While there was a stretch where the refs called like 4 fouls on Cleveland in like one minute, only one of which was deserving, there were so many fouls called that were phantom.

That being said, we fucking blew the second half. We played great in the first half, and then gave up everything in the third. We allowed a decent run, and half the team just gave up emotionally. Bradley was pretty awful today, where he couldnt hit a shot, and was getting beat defensively. Zeller was not good at all. Evan Turner needs to fucking realize that LeBron motherfucking James is guarding him, and that his normal post up, turn around mid range jumper game DOES NOT WORK in this matchup. He himself cost the team 10+ points due to bad shots and poor defense. And fucking Isaiah Thomas turned the ball over SO fucking much, just literally trying to do way too much with the ball.

I dont want all of you guys who didnt watch the game, see the score, and laugh at me for overstating the Celtics this past week. And maybe I did, idk. We played great basketball in the first half. But we just didnt play the system well enough in the 2nd half. Kevin Love was amazing on the boards, and he hit the threes when he needed to. Kyrie is still amazing, and is the 2nd best player in the entire Eastern Conference. This series should still be close, as long as we fucking realize what went wrong, and make changes (Im looking at you, Evan Turner). Bass played great, as did Olynyk and Smart. But we cant be the team that relies on one guy to win, we need everyone to chip in. Otherwise, it really wont be a close series.

Coming off like me would be an upgrade for you

Seriously, though--I had no bad intentions in saying that you'll lose all games by 10+ points. Your team has a lot of things going for them. 1. Best young coach in the league. 2. Good system that maximizes mediocre and worse players and 3. A superstar away from becoming and instant threat in the East.

You've got a lot of things going for you. Getting demolished by Cleveland does not hurt that. Boston is on the rise.

Is Thomas part of the Celtics' long term plans?
