No, but at some point you give up an asset you have in spades (ZBo) for an asset you need.

They easily could have added more shooters, though. I don't get why it's so hard to figure out that your current product can't compete with higher scoring teams.

They had a go-to scorer and they traded him for next to nothing

Let me rephrase--an efficient go-to scorer.

I feel like Jeff Green could be that but he's too tentative with them. It's time to relegate ZBo the bench and let Green start at the 4, next season.

Ew no Jeff green is so overrated
i dont even think he's overrated, people still think he can be better than what he his. his potential is tapped. he is what he is and he's better off a seventh man.

As a Celtics fan, I can say that Jeff Green can't be a top scorer at all

Hell, we traded him for friggen Tayshaun Prince (who we flipped for Gigi and Jerebko), and our offense became so much more efficient without him. Hell, the lines where it was Sullinger-Bass-Smart-Bradley-Rondo were better than with Green in there.

Jeff's role should be at best a #3 guy, but his role in Memphis is fine right now.

I think he's overrated in the sense that if I were building a team he wouldn't be allowed on it

Paus back, oh man they really needed him back. I wonder how effective he will be.

Now that Monty is out, let's do a Anderson/Douglas for Monroe trade

That's not a good deal for New Orleans Anthony Davis though

I'm at the point where AD is so brilliant that he fits next to anyone.
