This Harvey drama is so stupid and I wish they just focus on the games. Idk why its a debate follow the doctors orders and if they reach the playoffs go from there.

It's big because he's a superstar, the recovery from tommy john varies from player to player, it's not an exact science (look at Jeff Passans article on Yahoo), this limit came out of nowhere, and earlier this year Matt was crying about the 6 man rotation.

Not to mention limiting by innings is stupid and actually more threatening to the pitcher, because total season pitches would be a better way to judge a player's workload.

Now you've got USA TODAY saying if we make the playoffs he's limited to 3 games, 1 per series, and a maximum of 60 pitches each game. If I'm Collins I'm telling the GM the I AM THE MANAGER, and if they're going to dictate when to pull him out, then I want him off the playoff roster, should we make the playoffs, and I'll go to war without him.

We havent even madre the playoffs lol. All Harvey needed to say was " I will be ready every 5 days and Im no doctor."

I don't think you realize the severity of this. This isn't just about the playoffs. They're now talking about pitching him tonight, skipping, then pitching once more, and then not pitching him again the rest of the regular season. 
 
And as I said in my previous post, IF they make the playoffs. I purposely made sure to add the word IF, an you still went with the "we haven't even made the playoffs yet". The goal of every season is to make the playoffs, so it's frustrating to see your AceB, the face of the franchise, suddenly pop up this "shut down at 180 innings" crap. 
 
As much of an asshole that Boras is, Agents never speak for their clients unless their clients tell them to. 
 
 
And my last point was that TC should be fuming if management is going to tell him that they and the agent are going to dictate when to pitch a player. That is Collins' job.

You obviously dont understand what I was trying to say. All this talk about playoffs is stupid because we havent won the division which is being brought forth by the media. Collins should be outraged but he is on a short leash and needs to show results. Hes not gonna ruffle feathers because he wants to keep his job.

The whole talk by the media is that he should grow a set of balls and put the team, and winning, before monetary gains.
 
 
Anyway, Im not even that mad at Harvey, I'm mroe pissed with Boras. It's pretty obvious that Boras has gotten inside his head recently.

That was the season right there. Down 7-1 in the 7th and we comeback and win 8-7. 6 game lead now

Cespedes with the HR 4-2 Mets! He gonna get paid!

Strasburg was pitching the game of his life. 2-1 lead, and he gives up a pinch hit HR to Kelly Johnson. Now Cespedes hit's a 2-Run HR. 4-2 Mets.

Sadly he's not the only one. SNY is mentioning it, about 90% of Francesa's callers today mentioned it.
