deGrom gave up 7 runs in 3 innings, but the Mets hit 6 HRs to come back and so far have a 9-7 lead. Insane. Such a different team than two months ago.

Ok Im on board now. I had them winning 83-85 games this year, but last night showed me just how different this team is. They are making the playoffs.

Set a new club record with 8 HRs. They just kept coming back and fighting to take the lead back. 1st game back for Wright and he hits a home run, obviously he wont continue like that but its the veteran leadership that he will bring to the club that will make a big difference for all the young guys.

They are carrying so much momentum at just the right time and the Nationals wont be able to catch up. Not with the pitching we have and now the offense to support it.

Red Sox are getting rid of Dan Orsilo for some reason.

Because NESN is so far removed from the pulse of their fanbase (rather the fanbases of the team's they broadcast). It's not the first time they made this type of move. Won't be the last.
