Playoffs are gonna be really great

NL has a really good chance to be a repeat of last year lol
In fact, i expect the dodgers, cards and nats to win their divisions again
Pirates are a lock for the WC. All thats missing js san francisco as the second wild card. Obviously gonna have to beat out the cubbies and mets

The Mets are now scoring runs in the late innings when theyre down, usually they would fold every time. This is a great sign.

Mets have won 9 out of their last 11. 2.5 game lead now in the division and Matt Harvey is starting to really pitch like a top 3 pitcher in the league with the likes of Greinke and Kershaw. Last 6 starts, 7 innings or more with a 1.44 ERA.

It stinks that Harvey, Degrom, and Noah have innings limits. If Harvey keeps pitching like this he will reach it in about 6-7 more starts.

"The Designated Hitter rule in baseball is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's Free Throws." - Rick Wise

never really thought about it like that. I'm still a fan of the DH though.

That analogy is fairly stupid. It would be more like tellling Shaq he has to take at least two three pointers a game no matter what. And that is also dumb too, because you can't compare the two sports.

The DH rule would be like if offensive players in the NFL didn't also play defense. Oh, shit.

Interesting fact, you HAVE to use the DH - you can't chose to bat a pitcher instead.

Usually nobody would want to do that, but there have been a few instances this season where I would have been more comfortable with Harvey or DeGrom batting at DH.

Hisashi Iwakuma 3 outs away from a no-hitter.

I've always liked the native Americans.
