Tigers are so annoying. Have the highest team batting average by like .010 points. 4th in runs.
You'd think that be a recipe for success, but no our entire pitching staff is hot garbage.

We have 1 reliable starter (Price) and 1 who's either great or awful (Sanchez). Everyone else is trash. And the Pen is pretty bad, which when combined with an incompetant manager leads to disaster.

I think our lack of pitching is a much bigger issue than the incompetency of our manager.
I put a lot more of the blame on Dombrowski than Ausmus for our struggles.

Did you see the pinch running debacle last night? Ausmus is the worst manager in the game and I say that about a league who features Ned Yost.

I'm up home in Troy visiting for a few days, and I'm watching the game with my dad, and I'm trying to explain how incompetent Ausmus is with examples and he just doesn't get it. A lot of Tigers fans are like this.

A manager makes dozens of decisions a game, and making 5-10 of them right or 5-10 of them wrong is really the line between a good or bad manager. Ausmus is always on the wrong side of wrong.

I'm not saying he's a good manager. I just think Dombrowski has put together a very flawed team.

I don't really think there are many managers that could do much with how terrible our pitching staff is.

dumbrowski has always been the flaw of this team. he gets way too much credit for a few good moves.

How the hell did Kershaw not make the all-star team? There was more uproar when Harper didnt make it as a rookie and thats bullshit.

Neftali Feliz, the former All-Star and Rookie of the Year, could get a chance to revive his career in one of baseball's most beleaguered bullpens.

Feliz, who elected free agency from the Texas Rangers earlier this week after being designated for assignment July 3, is expected to sign a major-league deal sometime soon, according to Chris Cotillo of the Daily Dish, and the Detroit Tigers are in the mix for his services.
