Bullpen imploded in the same inning that they made defensive subs. They may have fucked themselves
Thinking they had the game in the bag I'm guessing? Lol.

Damn Carlos Correa is so good

Lindor or Correa, next year one of those two will be the best SS in the league

I think it's a mistake that the Royals haven't tried transitioning Davis back into a starter. He could always slide back into being a dominant reliever, and it's definitely worth the small risk in trying to see if he could translate this back into being a starter. Much more value there.

Yea, I don't quite get using Price in a 6 run game, and not just starting him tomorrow, or whenever game 5 is.

They're confident in Stroman which I think is cool but I figured you'd save price even if it was for out of the bullpen in game 5

Dickey still looks puzzled in the dugout. I feel for him.

Idc, if you're gonna use a bullpen arm in a 6 run game at least use someone like Hendriks to pitch for a couple of innings.

I don't mind them using Price in this game based on the fact it's an elimination game and this is still the Texas Rangers. But I do agree that dickey didn't even look shakey at all and that we should have let him at the very least finish the inning. Plus because of the day rest Price will likely be available out the bullpen for game 5

They're doing it because Price has been bad in a handful of starts in the playoffs, which I think is dumb. Price is the better pitcher.

I would much have preferred Dickey pitch another inning and let the bullpen shut the door. Now the best pitcher in the rotation will only be available out of the pen for the most important game of the season.

I think that's part of the reason. Stroman is also very capable of playing to the occasion and Price has said he's willing to come in in whatever situation. I still think there's a chance you'll see Price in game 5 in the later innings
