It fills a need for both teams. The Tigers needed OF defense and the Jays needed a 2nd baseman. Some Tigers fans were getting upset just because they saw that they traded a top prospect without taking into account that Travis was blocked by Kinsler and wasn't gonna play unless he switched positions. Pretty good deal for both sides imo.
