Another thing I forgot to mention.. The Bengals were smart to let Michael Johnson walk, especially the money he wanted. He's overrated and hasn't done crap thus far.

Man, I can't believe how bad Tampa is. At least there was a Giraffe sighting, tonight.

Also, what the hell happened to Doug Martin?

Although I think the Saints pick was right of course (hopefully we get our act together) but as it is right now these guys look like fools

Well, I'll tell you this much, there are no excuses for the Saints to lose, this weekend lol. Not because Peterson's gone, but because Cassel is still Minnesota's starter. Please feast on him so we can see Teddy, sooner.

I'm never one to place bets but if I ever would make a bet I'd bet on the Saints to win this Sunday. Not too bold of a pick honestly but I have seen nothing to indicate that the Saints issues' are more than just tough road scenarios. Once we get settled back in the Dome we should be back to blowing people out. If not, then we have something to be worried about.

But anyway, I just find it really funny that people picked the Bucs to make the playoffs. That was apparently a hot pick this offseason.

Saints are 0-2 by an average of 2.5 points. Two game winning field goals.

Matt Ryan could have gotten me so many more fantasy points.

Too bad they let off the gas after they went up 56-0. Could have had a chance to beat the 73-0 record.

I don't get why some people expected the Bucs to be good. They don't have a QB and they don't have a running back.

McCown did well last year with Chicago, and a healthy Doug Martin IS a good running back

McCown started five games last year. I understand he played well but it's stupid to think because of however many good games he had that he could translate into a viable starting quarterback for a team. Look at what he's done over his entire career, much larger sample size.

And I'll just defer to Teagz' post above for the assessment of their running backs haha

Look at who McCown had at the skill positions. It's no secret as to why he played the way he did. I'm not sure why anyone would expect him to continue that level of play.

He had a passer rating of 109 (QBR of 85.1), a completion percentage of 66.5%, and threw for 1800 yards in basically 6 games.

Those are REALLY good numbers. Even if we assumed he wouldn't keep up his play, he'd probably be a decent QB, not the dumpsterfire he currently is. Players can progress through their careers; maybe playing for Chicago taught him how to play (obviously not though lol)

The playoff predictions are very premature, but the Bucs should not be this bad. Not even close. McCown is at least serviceable enough to play better than he has. At the same time, it should have been the Giraffe starting, this whole time.

McCown shouldn't be starting on any team, period. He's a back up who id trust not to come in and lose me the game if my starter went down. I can't remember what type of contract he got but expecting him to lead a team to the playoffs as a starter is nonsense.

EDIT: forgot to harp on his weapons as Nola said already.
