Glad I didn't get sucked into the preseason trap this year. Shit is horrible.

Trent Richardson 2.6 YPC in the first pre-season game, 2.3 in the second one.

Leading up to preseason I read countless articles explaining why he would rebound this year.

There were people on PSD last year still saying Richardson was a better rb than Alfred Morris.

Jeez, Khalil Mack is really struggling. Not what you want to see. Preseason of all places to struggle..

Can't believe there was actual talk of him going > Clowney.

Develin is fucking great, man. He's probably gonna play some TE this year too. Dude has a crazy motor.

I want his nickname to be "The Stegosaurus", because of his backplate, but I feel like that won't catch on.

I literally cannot help myself from chuckling every time I watch that. What a beast run.

Saints seem to have pretty much everyone back today, first practice in Louisiana.

Brees, Grubbs, Evans, Colston, Lewis, Hawthorne all back.

Only missing Bailey, Byrd, Fortt, Butler, and Robinson.

Some people think they know so much about football but are just stupid.

The people who are saying that Clowney's hit on the RB wasn't good because he wasn't blocked.. SMH. The guard was supposed to swing out and take him but Clowney was just too fucking fast.

Interesting quote about Locker by ESPN's Titan's writer Paul Kuharsky :

I think Jake Locker is better [than last year]. I think it's a better offense with a better scheme and better coaching, all of which will help him. Better enough? I don't know that. He still makes more bad choices than a QB you are hanging your hat on should.

Not surprised. His issues, like I've said about other QB's, at this point are unlikely to be fixed. I may be wrong, but if they don't pan out these issues by year 2, there isn't much hope. I feel very similarly about Derek Carr.

Looked more to me like Blalock had a momentary lack of judgement and forgot his assignment on the play.

He probably still would have kind of whiffed on the block but he would have atleast chipped him.

It's possible, definitely. Regardless he wasn't totally unaccounted for.

EDIT
It almost looks like he took a fake step to the inside, and then went out, but was too late. So that was either by design or he dun goofed. It looked more to me like it was design, but I could be wrong.

He took a step to block down on Powe at the snap then pivoted towards Clowney. I doubt that was by design, if it was it was a poor design by the Falcons.

Yeah I saw that step, but the way he easily put his weigh back towards the left, and the motion he made whilst doing it made me think it was by design. IDK.
