Yep. I really think he is going to succeed as a head coach eventually.

 
I'm not sure he will get that opportunity again, just my opinion. I view him as a better defensive coordinator than head coach. I don't think many teams had to be real impressed with what he did with the Lions other than the one playoff season. Sometimes that's all a guy needs though is a fresh start.

Think he was destined to fail with our organization though. Given a fresh start, and a competent organization, I think he would do well. He's a good coach. Maybe just a few more years to mature, and I think he will be back as a head guy.

I'm mostly interested in watching Garoppolo's read progressions, our interior line, and the young receivers/backs like Finch, White, Gallon, Houston, etc
 
Mallett will do well though, not even worried about him.
