Is that really a thing? I hadn't heard that.Teagz said:I just hope he doesn't go to Michigan. He's too good to be a college coach.
Michigan fans seem to think so.CameronCrazy06 said:Is that really a thing? I hadn't heard that.
For real. You go back to college when you can't cut it.Teagz said:I just hope he doesn't go to Michigan. He's too good to be a college coach.
And in the case of Charlie Weis you get fired there tooelcheato said:For real. You go back to college when you can't cut it.
No man, it depends on the program. You can make the same salary as an NCAA coach if you're at a top 5-7 program. A Harbaugh could make 5 mil per season at Michigan, but is it even worth it? I doubt that's even a top 50 team in the country right now.elcheato said:For real. You go back to college when you can't cut it.
Only two college coaches make more than Harbaugh does now with San Fran, and Harbaugh is probably better than what was anticipated when he left Stanford, so expect to see him become the highest paid coach in the league, or at least one of them.Mobruler said:No man, it depends on the program. The next coach won't go in and go 9-3 and win the Sugar Bowl like Brady Hoke did with Rich Rod's guy. They will eat shit and dodge arrows for 2-3 seasons while overhauling that locker room.
The Michigan job will pay as much as most NFL jobs, will be a much larger challenge than most NFL jobs, and would offer glorification upon success unrivaled by any NFL job.
