I'm legitimately pissed off right now. Saints D played scared the entire game. Wasn't a Rob Ryan led defense, they let Atlanta dictate what they would do and got their asses kicked because of it.

Once you accept that your team sucks defeat becomes a lot easier. It's how I got through last year's Giants without flipping the fuck out.

This Carolina/Tampa game might end in a 0-0 tie

Washington's offense looked bad. Run game was good, but I saw a lot of "..completed pass to WR Desean Jackson for a gain of 0 yards"

Offense was good in the second half. They just decided to gift wrap them two fumbles inside the 10 yardline.

Just zero aggression, like I said they played scared.

On the DL they got good pressure off the edge from Cam and Junior, as expected, but they brought zero pressure up the middle so all Ryan had to do was step up in the pocket or pull it down and run for it on a few occasions on important downs. Brought three or four rushers all game and made zero effort to generate a pass rush up the middle. When they did bring pressure they did a real good job.

Then in the secondary they played zone all game, and when you look at the Saints corners they are all man corners. Lewis, Robinson, White, etc. Yet they played zone and gave up everything in front of them. Safeties played 30 yards off the line of scrimmage all game. I'll get some screen shots of it, but all Matt Ryan had to do was float the ball into a huge pocket in the zone. Or they gave up crossing routes and Atlanta has receivers incredibly hard to bring down in the open field. Poor tackling did not help.

Just a shit performance all around from this defense, they played not to give up anything deep and they didn't, but it bit them in the ass. Matt Ryan just picked apart the zone defense all game long.

Oh. Sadly (or gladly?) I couldn't watch the game so I'm basing this off nfl.com gamecenter.

I hate when people act like Tony Romo isn't a top 10 quarterback in the league

Very happy the Bengals came away with the win.. Dominated the first half but couldn't score a TD, 5 FG's.. Kept Baltimore in the game and eventually let them get ahead late but responded right back the following drive for their first TD of the game, at a very crucial time. Got the Falcons next weekend, should be an interesting game..
