He has his flaws. He's not an elite QB but there's no reason Baltimore would replace him considering he's better than 2/3rds of the starting QB's in the NFL and he's still got many good years left in him.
Regardless, career highs across the board doesn't point to him having a bad year at all. I don't think you've watched the Ravens play this year at all except maybe today. He's played shitty today but you're just "cherry-picking" on that.

There have been multiple games where Baltimore has struggled to score like this. Indianapolis comes to mind. Both Cincinnati games. The guy has made some great progressions in his career. He was Andy Dalton bad in the playoffs at first, but has turned into a fire breathing dragon if the Ravens get into the post season.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's as dangerous as any playoff QB if they qualify, but I have a hard time overlooking his regular season shortcomings

Again he's like 5th in the league in QBR and like 12th in passer rating so you're greatly overstating his "short-comings"

Either way arguing with Bware is like arguing with a wall

Hoyer under throws a wide open Travis Benjamin who is 40 yards down field, it gets picked, the corner gets up, runs 20-30 yards, and then fumbles and its recovered by Benjamin.

the money makes flacco looks worse imo but that's not his fault he got paid, and that's an issue with a lot of players

At least Flacco won a Super Bowl and the SB MVP to boot.

He's overpaid but compared to Cutler, Dalton, Kaepernick that contract looks relatively tame

Now Hoyer looks hurt. Is Connor Shaw even active?

Down 30 in my fantasy championship

Tony Romo, Eman Sanders, Larry Donnell, Cards defense vs. CJ Andersen

What's that? An Osi Umenyora sighting? You've got to be kidding.

As for the Flacco argument. Rock and a hard place. He's losing to Case Keenum. I think that at least highlights that he's not worth the money. He's also barely a top 15 QB. Maybe somewhere like 12-13. Still top half but when he's playing badly, there's no hole he can't dig deeper.

CJ Anderson is a one man wrecking crew.

Using one game as your argument is terrible logic. He beat Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady in consecutive weeks in that Super Bowl run. Football is a team sport

Saying he isn't a top 15 QB doesn't mean he's a bad QB

Like, Tannehill isn't in the Top 15, but he's a good franchise QB

This is Flacco's best year, no doubt

I mention that using one game is a terrible argument so you reference his interceptions from this game. Sounds about right.

That was my reply to bosox's "it's a team sport" comment. Flacco may have taken Baltimore's playoff chances away, today. Fucking bum.
