Sorry if some of you can't handle something out of the norm but it is a spectacle. There has never been an openly gay player drafted or in the NFL.

Hey, I'm all for openly gay players in every sport, and I'm all about equality, but if we truly want to get to the point where love is love regardless of sexual orientation, we need to not treat homosexual love any different than heterosexual love.
 
At this point, we're just training people to accept things falsely instead of letting people come to their own conclusions.

Glad to see Michael Sam got drafted. Rams had a good draft, if Bradford can stay healthy and play up to the level that he can, the 49ers, Cardinals and Seahawks are gonna have to look out because I see the Rams becoming a very good football team. I like what they've been building. Having lots of picks does help, but they put themselves in that position.

Umm, that's how we've been treating "love" forever, and look where we are, homosexuals are openly discriminated against in state marriage laws. There were many people outraged by the sight of him kissing his boyfriend. Your theory is flawed. The topic/discussion NEEDS to be out in the open, and it needs to be harped on, over and over again, until things change. That's how change happens. It certainly doesn't happen from this mindset of just treating it like normal, when it ha been deemed not normal by half the country.
