I'm not saying I'd rather have Draymond than Asik, but even still that is an AWFUL trade for Golden State.

Like I said, throw Iggy out and send us Speights or some shit. You get a top 10-12 Center that actually stays healthy.

Golden State is at their best with a defensive anchor. Asik is one of the best defensive centers in the league, imo.

After Aldridge scored 46 and 43, Asik held him to 36% percent shooting in game 3, 25% shooting in game 5, and 38% shooting in game 6, with the exception of one outlier percentage in game 4 (52%). 3 out of 4 games that LMA didn't even shoot 40% after going nuts in games 1 and 2.

8-22 in game 3
3-12 in game 5
10-26 in game 6

The outlier being 12-23 in game 4

This dude would make Golden State much better, even if they lose the immensely overrated Iggy.

I don't want to go back and read, but is Bogut involved in this somehow?

I don't know if he's under contract past this season. If he is, sure. Bogut/Green for Asik and somebody else. I dunno.

Bogut can't stay healthy. He's not worth that much.

I mean, why wouldn't GS be interested in an Asik, Bogut swap? They'd get a younger, better center.

They obviously could be, but you were giving the Rockets Green and Iggy and I don't think they'd want to trade either. Harrison Barnes maybe

The only player out of those 3 I actually would want is Green. I'd take the other two but if we could have Green coming off the bench to defend, that'd be great. That, or just slide Parsons over to the 4 like they so badly want to, anyway.

Or send Parsons with Asik. Get Green/Iggy or Green/Bogut.

They don't need Millsap. They need a wing defender and a point guard. Getting Paul Millsap makes a minimal difference, imo.

Why go get a finished 4 when we've got one that's still developing and already really good? If TJones adds an outside shot, he provides more than Millsap could, anyway.

If Houston gets caught up in chasing a better 4 again, it's just going to lock them in neutral. Get a pair of backup wing players who can defend, and a better point guard, even if McHale stubbornly starts Bev.

Paul Millsap is immensely better than Terrence Jones

I kinda feel like Harden and Melo on the same team would be a hot mess
