They gotta hand KD the MVP in Memphis tomorrow, might be the last time he plays.

Is there any other player in the league that scares the crap out of the fan bases of both the teams that are playing more than Russell Westbrook? I could see not wanting him on your team, but not wanting to play against him at the same time. The most unique player in the league in that respect.

Well the year Dirk won it, they held a press conference and gave it to him, iirc.

I'm legitimately amazed that someone who isn't from Memphis thinks that the Grizzlies beating the Thunder is a favorable outcome for the NBA. Ratings will plummet if the Thunder get knocked out, they're the second most popular team in the playoffs behind Miami.

It's not favorable for the NBA and its ratings, but as someone who preaches about the need for parity, any team that hasn't seen the finals but has a legitimate shot is more appealing to me than say, SA or OKC.

I am really starting to think Portland could go to the Finals. Especially if Memphis wins this round (I still think they won't) and KOs LAC.

So the question here is: is either of these teams actually dangerous to Miami, or are both of them?

I lean toward both, but I also wonder if Miami wouldn't sweep or 4-1 both of them.
