I think that's fairy tale shit.  They've probably had more seats pre-sold before a season since the Reggie/J.O. days.  They're going to win like 39 games.  They'll be desperate to convince the season ticket holders that hope is coming and Paul George coming back from a totally catastrophic injury that will probably never see him being the same is not it.  A new coach is always the go to move, it provides new hope for a new philosophy.

But Vogel will get hired again right away.  He'll probably get the best team with an open vacancy.  Something like the Kings knocking out Malone and then Vogel gets a team with nice young talent.

Actually I just talked myself out of feeling bad for Vogel.  If he can move from Indianapolis to Sacramento and coach DeMarcus Cousins instead of Roy Hibbert, then fuck him.

Clippers, Spurs Enter Picture For Ray Allen
The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as possible destinations for Ray Allen.

Allen is still deciding whether or not he will retire, but he has been widely expected to join LeBron James with the Cleveland Cavaliers should he continue his playing career.
Doc Rivers is a natural recruiter for Allen given their time together with the Boston Celtics.

The Spurs have one roster spot available.

Jason Terry to the Rockets
Hopefully another move to follow for the Kings. Would make no sense if we just move Terry and picks for nothing.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer just now hired a beat writer. Picked a hell of a summer to not have a writer.

Next season the Cavs will trade Haywoods 10 million dollar unguaranteed contract and draft picks for Brook Lopez. Count it.

Also, the 76ers & Cavs are going to be using projection-mapping technology permanently, every game

So that in essence, every game. Must cost a lot

more they use it, the cheaper it becomes in the long run because they'll get beter at it and likely need less people to do it.

or im completely wrong and it'll always cost a ton of money.

I think the biggest expense is just setting up it for use, and then converting to the necessary video files that allow the projection, so I suppose if you're using the same intro all year (most teams do barring a significant trade), then the cost will mainly just be in the original use. Still a big investment though. Should be neat.

Greg Monroe officially signed the qualifying offer with the Pistons which basically every single person reading this post figured would happen anyways.

It's is now officially official though, that the Pistons are going to probably torture their fans with Josh Smith at the 3 and Monroe at the 4 again for an entire season, after which Monroe will leave for nothing and return home to Louisiana where the Pelicans will win like three straight titles and force us to kill nolafan.

I think Greg will come off the bench. Stan isn't going to start them 3 again together
