Yeah. He struggled in the playoffs, I get that. That's not an argument for a Heat team being less talented when he was having his best season throughout the entire regular season.

I have actual sources, from inside Ray Allen's camp, that He has "substantial offers" from a team in Texas and California, deals larger than he'd expect to receive at his age.

I'd assume it's Clippers and Mavericks, with the Kings and Spurs being the dark horse candidates

Apparently the Pacers called the Pistons about a potential Roy Hibbert deal.

I hope we immediately hung the phone up lol.

Does Houston have cap? It could be them too. Don't see why the Spurs would offer anything significant.

It's not Dallas.

I'd put my money on Houston.

I listened to an excellent podcast today about how fans in the NBA actually like trades, free agency, etc more than the game itself.

Was a really interesting discussion.

It's a lot more enjoyable than most regular season games that don't mean anything.

Player movement is exciting. Trades rarely happen in the NFL and most of the top free agents don't test the market. In the MLB trades are always major league players for prospects 90% of the world doesn't know and the free agents always go to the same places.

NBA is more unpredictable, trades happen more frequently, etc.. Its fun

The general idea of the podcast was that fans of the NBA are really just looking for something to distract them from their lives for two or so hours a night a couple days through out the week.  Basically the extra level in and outs of basketball isn't really something people understand.  Not because they're dumb, not because they don't care, just the average fan doesn't have a lot of average time to devote to that kind of thing and they more just care to cheer when a player hits a three and they don't really care how it happened.  They talk about how things like trades, free agency, etc is something fans can actually do and predict in their own homes.

The league schedule will be released Wednesday.

I had heard last week that it would be released early last week but complications with All-Star weekend pushed it back a bit.

You might get your wish as I just read somewhere on a Cavs site that the Cavs might open in San Antonio, then host the Knicks for their next game.

Unsure as to why they're sending the Cavs out to San Antonio though. I guess they view LeBron vs the entire Spurs as the leagues biggest rivalry.

I mean it kinda is. At least the one with the most meaning. Not in terms of being actual rivals or anything.

Wade staying healthy and being reborn would change that top 'rivalry'. I don't know how possible or likely that is, but the Chicago Bulls If Healthy™ seem to get the benefit of the doubt.

Hope it happens.

Also, as far as Kevin Durant joining the Wizards in 2016.
