There's literally no argument to make for Dwight Howard being a better offensive player than Chris Bosh. None.

Based on skillset, you're right. Based on production, they're neck and neck or Dwight is slightly better.

It doesn't matter what you can do if you don't produce as much as someone else.

If I had to get one basket, and it had to be via the post, I would pick Bosh everytime. Like you said he doesn't really do it anymore, but he's a whole lot better than Dwight when he does. Dwights a turnover machine in the post.

I'd go to Bosh simply because the other team could just the other team could hypothetically just foul Dwight.

But Howard goes through stretches where he's un-guardable one-on-one in the post

Bosh is the better defender, and has deeper range
LMA is still definitely better, but Bosh is definitely deserving of a max.

Lamarcus has none

Bosh doesnt do it anymore cause he doesnt want to

Weve seen bosh as a consistent #1 option before. Hes better

Bosh as a consistent #1 option for a team that never won a playoff series in a weak Eastern conference?

LaMarcus has already won one as a #1 option in a much tougher conference. Wasn't he a second tier MVP candidate for a while this year?

I disagree that LMA doesn't have a post game.

This is bad logic. Houston played at a top 5 pace in the NBA last season, while Miami played at a bottom 5 pace. Common sense tells you Houston and Dwight had many more "opportunities" than Miami and Bosh. You also have to take into account their teammates. Miami just spread the ball around more. Aside from Dwight, Houston had 2 players with a usage rate of 20 or higher that also played more than 800 minutes. Miami had 3. Again, if you take into account the less possessions this is significant.

Not to mention the guy Dwight played with (Harden) had a lower usage rate (27.8) than both LeBron and DWade (31.0 and 27.9). In Bosh you're also looking at a guy who scored 1.21 points per play compared to Dwight scoring just 1.05 points per play. Lets not confuse Dwight getting more opportunities as him being the more productive offensive player. We're smarter than that here.

Nola you also need to mention that Bosh was every team's fifth concern (after LeBron, LeBron, LeBron, and Wade), which is a big reason why his PPS is so high

Probably means Harrellson is gone. Which sucks cause I'd rather have him than Gray lol.

Vince Ellis says he doesn't think Harrellson will be back next year.
He also said he doesn't feel like Bynum will be either.

But we all know he is a terrible beat writer so lol.
