Think he would be a nice fit with Davis. Certainly would help mask his defensive deficiencies.
His passing skills excite me, gotta admit that.

Idk what the pels are doing ever

1. Is davis a pf or a c?
2. Sign anderson, bench him
3. Sign tyreke as a 6th man?
4. Trade robin and start ajinca or stiemsma? (I know money may have been the issue so they could sign tyreke)
1. Can I say both? He's proved to be a very good power forward and center. Gives you the freedom to play a PF or C next to him.

2. They were concerned about playing Davis with Anderson at such a young fragile age. It's unfortunate what happened to Ryno this past season and he only saw 22 games, but before he got hurt we were starting to see he and Davis starting together.

3. Like I've said in the past, the idea was never to permanently make Tyreke a 6th man. Once Gordon was off the books, whether that was last season, this season, or next season, Tyreke would have slid right into that starting role. With his performance as a starter last season I'm sure he's going to slide right into that role even with Gordon on the team. Even last season Tyreke and Gordon only played about the equivalent of a quarter together per game. Reke spent 64% of the minutes Gordon played last season on the bench.

4. Correct. They've admitted they didn't want to give up Robin, but it's easier to find another Lopez than it is to find a Tyreke.

I'd take almost anything for him really. Outside of a shittier contract.

I really don't buy the Pistons being able to move Smith. Not now atleast.

They said during the deadline there was interest but Dumars couldn't find the right deal. When in reality he should've taken anything.

Eric Gordon has reportedly had interest over the past two years as well. I mean I'm not trying to shit all over Smith, but who knows what that interest was. "We'll give you our slightly less shitty contract for your slightly more shitty contract" or "we'll take Smith off your hands, but we'll need asset(s) back in return and you'll have to take back one of our overpaid players." I mean I just can't see anyone putting the kind of deal you would see on 2K on the table for Smith. There's a stipulation involved somewhere.

The Jrue Holiday trade could go down as one of the worst deals in NBA history.

Of course, the 76ers haven’t gotten a single second of playing time from the play anyone acquired in the deal with the Pelicans. It’s far from certain Philadelphia will even win the trade with full hindsight.

But the potential definitely exists for an all-time robbery.
oh my shit...

Noel has the higher potential than what Jrue is. I doubt he reaches his potential, but it's still higher than Holiday. Add on a Top 10 pick and yes, it could be robbery.

I can deal with reasonable arguments, but I can't deal with false narrative that is being passed along because he plays for a team that is not well liked. You can say the 6ers won the trade all you want, make 10 straight posts of it if you want, good with me. But in no universe is a Nerlens Noel who did not reach his potential and a Stauskas, Harris, McDermott, etc for Jrue Holiday robbery. That is just not a viable argument. You would have a hard time finding a Philly fan that feels that way.

When you are going to make a post, leave what you have against me or any other member on the board at the door, and atleast be objective.

Yep. I find it funny people want to make these assumptions based on a guy who has yet to play and a guy who has yet to even be selected. But whatever, like I've said a thousand times, Philly accomplished what they wanted to accomplish and New Orleans accomplished what they wanted too. Both teams and fan bases are satisfied, no doubt. It's foolish to feel like a grade has to be put on everything. Sometimes both sides win.

Celtics May Have Best Offer On Table To Wolves For Kevin Love
Jun 17, 2014 12:37 PM EDT

The Boston Celtics continue to pursue a trade for Kevin Love, offering the No. 6 and No. 17 picks in this year's draft, along with future No. 1's and young players such as Jared Sullinger or Kelly Olynyk.

Flip Saunders does not want to trade away Love, but he is beginning to realize that he would lose him for nothing next summer and this offer from the Celtics may be the best one he receives from any team.

The Wolves would own picks No. 6, 13 and 17, which could allow them to remake the core of the roster.

I'd definitely say Randle is a better prospect than those other guys.
